Stephen Sansing
Varsity Girls Head Coach & Program Director
Head Coach Stephen Sansing has been the Warriors' Head Volleyball coach since 2016. Prior to coming to NCHS, he coached for 12 years at Rockdale County High School and has amassed over 400 wins during his volleyball coaching career.
Coach Sansing got his teaching degree from Mississippi State University and has been a math teacher at North Cobb High School since 2016.
When he's not in the classroom Coach Sansing can be found coaching travel volleyball and spending time with his fiance, Jeannie, and his family.
Glenn Pannell
Boys Navy Team Head Coach
Coach Pannell started coaching the boys volleyball team in 2024 and has been in education since 2008, and a Warrior since 2009. He is from Powder Springs, Georgia, where he lives with his Wife (Cindy), Daughter (Isabella), and two dogs (Wellington and Nova).
At North Cobb Coach Pannell is part of the Social Studies Department. He retired as the Head Boys Soccer Coach in 2021 after 12 years with the program. Coach Pannell also has experience as a Warrior Football Coach. Coach Pannell is currently one of the Faculty Advisors for our nationally ranked Model United Nations Program and also a Faculty Advisor for our Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club.
Coach Pannell graduated from McEachern High School in 1983 where he played Football and Soccer. Following High School Coach Pannell attended the University of Georgia, and Kennesaw State University, where received his Bachelor of Science Degree and Valdosta State University, where he received his Master’s Degree.
Coach Pannell is a Veteran of the U. S. Army with 18 years of service (8 active duty, 10 reserve).
