High School Volleyball Tryouts Are Around the Corner!

Tryout season is here, and it’s time to get ready to showcase your skills on the court! Whether you’re a returning player or new to the game, preparing ahead of time can help you stand out. Here’s everything you need to know about upcoming high school tryouts.

High School Tryout Information

📍 Location: Main Gym
📅 Varsity Tryouts:

• May 12 & 13, 4:00 – 6:00 PM

📅 JV Tryouts:

• May 12 & 13: 6:30 – 8:30 PM
• May 14 & 15: 4:00 – 6:00 PM

📝 Who Can Try Out? Rising 9th – 12th graders that will attend North Cobb High School
💰 Fees: Tryouts are free, but if you make a team:

• Varsity: $700
• JV: $600
  (Payment plans will be available.)

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent Commitment: Parents of players who make a team will be required to assist with volunteer duties.

What to Expect at Tryouts

• Players will check in and be assigned a number, which will be written on their leg.
• Warm-up
• Skills assessment drills
• Scrimmage play

Tryout Results

At the end of tryouts, results will be posted on our website by player number. Be sure to check the site for updates!

What to Bring & Wear

• Athletic wear
• Sneakers
• Knee pads (if you have them)
• Water

Physicals & Paperwork

🏥 All players must have a physical on file through ParentVUE. Physicals must be completed and submitted between April 1st and May 9th!
