North Cobb Volleyball

The North Cobb High School volleyball program has established itself as a formidable force in high school athletics. Under the leadership of Head Coach Stephen Sansing since 2016, the team has achieved remarkable milestones, including winning the 2023 GHSA Class 7A State Championship and finishing as the 2024 GHSA Class 6A State Runner-Up.

The 2023 season showcased the team’s resilience and competitive spirit, culminating in a thrilling 3-1 victory over Walton High School to claim the state title. In 2024, the team continued its success with a strong 34-16 overall record, ultimately finishing as the GHSA Class 6A State Runner-Up. These achievements highlight the program’s commitment to excellence and ability to compete at the highest level.

In addition to the varsity team’s accomplishments, North Cobb’s JV team demonstrated its strength by winning the 2022 Cobb County Championship. This success reflects the program’s depth and dedication to developing skilled athletes at all levels.

To further support player development, North Cobb High School also offers a middle school program designed to cultivate future athletes. This initiative provides young players with foundational skills, preparing them for the competitive high school volleyball environment.

Expanding the program's impact, North Cobb launched a high school boys' volleyball program in 2024, offering new opportunities for male athletes to develop their skills and compete at a high level.
